What have we lost or have to lose? Only our dignity, pride, faith and the reason for all the Americans that we have lost so far. Check the wall in D.C., look at all the Americans that we let down for leaving Vietnam before the right time.

It's too late to argue whether we should be there or not. We are there, right or wrong, and the only way we can show the families of the fallen Americans that we are proud of them and their loyalty is to end this conflict fast and with a gain.

As a Vietnam veteran, I am ashamed of the United States for their lack of concern for all fallen Americans, whose only fault was to follow the orders of their country and to believe in their country's security. What if we had not had faith to follow George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, or Martin Luther King, Jr? WHERE WOULD WE BE NOW, AS A COUNTRY?
